The Role: We seek a talented and experienced Assistant Baker.

Description Brief: Support the preparation of all bakery items produced and served on board, following the Galley Department's menus and recipes, while actively participating in daily bakery operations. Ensure appearance, dress, and personal conduct meet standards, including punctuality, and foster a collaborative and positive team environment within the department. Handle equipment and utensils properly to avoid loss, damage, or unnecessary maintenance, and report any equipment malfunctions to the Baker. Assist the Baker in managing bakery food costs by developing cost-effective procedures and monitoring overproduction.

Minimum Requirements:

- At least two years experience as an Assistant Baker onboard passenger cruise ships.

- Valid STCW certificates, as required for the position.

- An amazing team player with a positive attitude to ‘get the job done’.
