Job Description



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Continuity Senior Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining business continuity plans and strategies. This role demands a proactive individual capable of anticipating potential risks and ensuring that our organization remains resilient in the face of disruptions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business continuity plans and strategies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure continuity plans are integrated and effective.
  • Establish and maintain emergency response protocols and crisis management procedures.
  • Conduct regular testing and drills to evaluate the effectiveness of continuity plans.
  • Provide training and support to staff on business continuity and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Monitor and review business continuity plans to ensure they remain current and effective.
  • Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to support continuity efforts.
  • Develop and maintain recovery plans for critical systems and processes.

We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Lincoln, NE or Omaha, NE office locations. 

Qualifications

You bring to the team:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or risk management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar certification is preferred.
