Campus Security supervisors are responsible for directing work of Campus Safety officers and supervising campus security and safety activities. Security Shift Supervisors assign posts, inform officers of policies and procedures, patrol buildings, review incident reports. The Supervisor also responds to various incidents including emergencies and directs Campus Safety officers at the scene as well as train new officers on new or updated policies. This position reports to the Director of Security Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Directing work of security officers and supervising campus security and safety activities.Â
Assign posts, inform officers of policies and procedures, patrol buildings, review incident reports, respond to emergencies and direct security officers at the scene and train new officers.
Knowledge of all site-specific policies and procedures, as well as implement emergency response activities when necessary
Provide superior customer service as well as providing building and premises security
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 2 years relevant work experience and 60 college credits or 30 college credits and equivalent experience with security, law enforcement or military.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office

Bachelorâ™s Degree
Supervisory experience preferred
WORK MODE
On-Campus Position - Employees in this position are expected to work on-campus during regularly scheduled work hoursÂ
This position requires rotating 8 hour shifts, 24 hours a day, including weekend and holidays .
SALARY RANGE
$62,400 - $65,000 per annum
