Location: Remote (Gaithersburg, MD) or Hybrid Remote

Pay Range: $38-45/hr. + benefits: PTO, Medical, Hybrid Schedule

Position Overview

Local candidates are preferred.
The ColdFusion Developer will play a key role in developing and maintaining web applications, working with proprietary systems, and delivering customized solutions for our clients. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with leadership, take on larger roles in client-facing projects, and bring fresh ideas to modernize our approach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using ColdFusion.
  • Collaborate with team members to integrate applications with back-end systems and databases.
  • Implement front-end components using HTML, JavaScript, and related technologies.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
  • Work on proprietary codebases and adhere to established development processes.
  • Participate in client project discussions, offering insights and innovative ideas.
  • Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and code as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or higher and/or advanced certifications.

  • Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and basic front-end technologies.
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server) and writing SQL queries.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical curriculum (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field).
  • Experience with web development for associations, nonprofits, or small businesses.
  • Knowledge of back-office integrations and client-facing project management.
  • Familiarity with other Adobe products or related web technologies.
