Job Overview:
The Collections Skip Recovery Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for handling select internal/external customer and vendor escalated issues related to the collection processes when a Supervisor is unavailable. The SME will also create and maintain reference and training materials, facilitate new hire training, and prepare any needed presentations requested. Also, the individual will be responsible for performing audits and presenting the findings to a direct manager. The SME will work with the Vendor Management team to ensure fee structure documentation and performance expectations are up to date as per the contract.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the point of contact to handle escalated/urgent issues for internal and external customers using a CustomerONE approach and in a timely manner. (25%)
- Create and maintain reference and training materials and facilitate training to the team, department and other internal customers (25%)
- Work with the Vendor Management team to ensure fee structure documentation and performance expectations are up to date as per the contract. (10%)
- Work with the Call Quality team to provide ongoing best practices and updates. (10%)
- Actively review and work in agents queues/tasks, reviewing accounts for resolution, and subsequent training of agents if gaps are discovered. Review daily reports to identify consistency in queue management to ensure agents remain on task, and providing coaching recommendations to leadership when opportunities are discovered. (25%)

Qualifications:

This position requires a minimum of 1 years of overall work experience. Preferred experience includes:
Education:
High School Diploma/(GED) Is Required, Bachelor's Degree Is Preferred. Additional Knowledge:
- Must be an in-depth information resource in the area of Skip Recovery with at least 1 year of experience required.
