Construction Accountant

Position Overview
The Construction Accountant will manage all financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with industry standards. This role is essential for maintaining project budgets, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing financial statements related to construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee project cost accounting and financial reporting for construction projects.
• Prepare and submit AIA billings and certified payroll reports in compliance with regulations.
• Monitor budgets and forecasts, providing recommendations to minimize costs.
• Perform regular audits of financial records and prepare reports for management review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Construction Accountant 
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting practices and cost accounting principles.
• Experience with Acumatica and Procore software is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with certified payroll processes and AIA billing.
