SUMMARY 

To serve the vision of Rock City Church by overseeing building and grounds maintenance at Tree of Life Polaris. Ensuring that the facility is clean and maintained according to Rock City Church policy and procedures and meets the Rock City level of excellence. 

GENERAL DUTIES 

• Clean Tree of Life Polaris classrooms, restrooms, and common areas (approx. 25hrs) 
• On call for school facility needs. (cleaning, material restocking, maintenance needs) 
• Work from Rock City Polaris during Sunday Services 
• Oversee day to day maintenance (painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.) 
• Assist with grounds maintenance 
• Oversee and supervises quality of work from contractors and volunteers 
• Conduct and document regular site inspections with Location Facilities Director 
• Check completed work by vendors and contractors 
• Communicate workplace safety to employees and volunteers 
• Assist with all fire and safety drills as needed 
• Attend to emergencies as needed 
• Ensure volunteer coverage on Sundays during services 
• Share on-call duties with Facilities Director 
• Prioritize your responsibilities, tasks, and projects
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE 

• Commercial building and grounds maintenance 
• Proper cleaning and sanitizing knowledge 
• Effective time management 
• Ability to navigate multiple projects 
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
