Requirements The
Class Programs & Reunion Campaigns (CPRC) team has grown since its inception in 2011 to work with over 1,000 alumni volunteers and internal partners to increase class-based engagement and giving. CPRC is responsible for establishing class fundraising goals, recruiting and developing volunteers, identifying high potential donors, soliciting leadership gifts, hosting world-class signature events (Homecoming Weekend and Reunion Weekend), and engaging alumni and students in fundraising for Georgetown.
The
Director oversees Georgetown's young alumni giving programs. Through effective management and strategic planning, this individual will build a best in class young alumni philanthropy program. Applicants should be leaders in the field of higher education philanthropy, possessing exemplary interpersonal skills, intellectual prowess, and a strong track record of achieving and exceeding goals. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the strategic vision and implementation of Homecoming Weekend and volunteer recruitment and development.
- Manage volunteers for five undergraduate alumni class committees.
- Recruit, develop and retain high-performing professionals.
- Lead a team of one professional staff.
- Manage one programming and operating budget.
Requirements and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree
- 5-7 years of professional experience in a development/fundraising environment (preferably at Georgetown University)
- Desire to contribute to and participate in the mission of Georgetown University
- A track record of high achievement and meeting or exceeding goals and a proven ability to think strategically and develop strategic plans
- Ability to lead by example and through instruction and to think creatively and innovatively
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven experience developing deep, lasting relationships
- Excellent problem solving skills and a motivated, self-starter
- Desire to work in a team environment
- Professional and collegial demeanor and ability to exercise diplomacy
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications (particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access)
- Experience and comfort working with complex metrics and analysis with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail

Pay Range: The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$54,616.00 - $100,493.33
Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
