Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Youth Ministry to lead our vibrant youth program with a strong emphasis on missions. This is an exciting opportunity to join an excellent church staff team and to grow in ministry while making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee youth ministry programs that engage and inspire young people to follow and serve Jesus in our community and world
- Foster spiritual growth and community among youth through activities, Bible studies, and mission trips.
- Collaborate with the church staff and volunteers to create outreach initiatives that connect youth with mission opportunities.
- Provide pastoral care and mentorship to youth and their families.
- Organize and lead events, retreats, and service projects that promote fellowship and community service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in youth ministry, preferably in a church setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A heart for missions and a commitment to community outreach.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Relevant educational background in theology, ministry, or a related field is preferred.
