Job Description

The DoubleTree by Hilton Miami Airport Convention Center is seeking an Dishwasher Steward to join our team. This position is 100% on-site, no remote work; this role pays between $13.00 to $14.00 hourly. The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Miami Airport Convention Center is conveniently situated just south of Miami International Airport off the Dolphin Expressway adjacent to the Blue Lagoon Business District. The hotel features 334 guestrooms, onsite dining, fitness room, outdoor pool, business center, complimentary High-Speed Internet Access, 24,000 square feet of retail space, 20,000 Square feet of Hotel Meeting and Function Space and an Convention Center with 152,000 square feet of meeting, event and exhibit space. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all areas of the dishroom, kitchen aisle, and dock area.
• Break down trays, set up dish machine, wash dishware, and sort and store all clean china, glass, and silver using proper procedures.
• Empty trashcans and wash inside and outside.
• Thoroughly clean dock area and dumpster.
• Break down dish machine and clean inside and outside.
• Clean all breakdown tables.
• Clean tile walls and baseboards.

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Always maintain a professional appearance and manner.
• Can communicate well with guests.
• Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
• Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
