We are seeking a committed and passionate expanded learning instructors to change the future of students by leading academic, physical, and enrichment activities as part of our team. As a inclusion specialist instructor, you will lead and mentor up to 10 youth in an expanded learning setting. Hours per week: 20 hours, plus PD

Minimum Requirements:
Some experience required
Ability to reliably commute to Oakland
Commitment to education equity and leadership
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
1 year experience working with students with special needs

Responsibilities:
Support and maintain the emotional well-being of the students
Provide a safe environment
Assisting management/leadership with children that are experiencing behavior issues, social/emotional distress and high functioning SPED students
Assist with the day time school connection/communication
Be an integral part of the "whole child" philosophy and supporting guardians
Assist with behavior plans and enforcing them during program hours
Ability to be a part of team meetings regarding said children
