Float Pool (Med-Surg) RN – Days/Nights | $40/Hour Flat Rate + Up to $20K Sign-On Bonus

• Location: Tallahassee, FL
• Schedule: Full-Time | Permanent | Rotating Shifts (Days & Nights)
• Pay: $40.00/hour flat rate + shift differentials
• Sign-On Bonus:
• • Nights: Up to $20,000
• • Days: Up to $10,000

About the Role

In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional patient care across multiple Med-Surg units, adapting quickly to diverse patient needs and environments. Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care:
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Serve as a patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and ensuring quality care.
• Unit Flexibility:
  • Adapt seamlessly to various Med-Surg units, ensuring consistent, compassionate care.
• Collaboration:
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and maintain care continuity.
• Education:
  • Educate patients and families about medications, procedures, and treatment plans.
• Quality & Safety:
  • Monitor and document care to support high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensure:
  • Active RN License required (Florida license required; compact licensure accepted – must apply for FL license).
• Experience:
  • 2+ years of recent acute care Med-Surg RN experience (within the last 1–2 years).
• Certifications:
  • Current BLS Certification (AHA Healthcare Provider) required.
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification required (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Education:
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Other:
  • Must reside within a 60-minute commute of the facility.

Shift Details & Differentials

• Available Shifts:
  • Days (Rotating Weekends): 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Nights (Rotating Weekends): 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Shift Differentials:
  • Nights: +$3.00/hour
  • Weekends: +$2.00/hour
