Forklift Mechanic

Pay: $2024/hr depending on experience
Hours: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (occasional overtime)

Were looking for a Forklift Mechanic to join our team in Catoosa. In this role youll be handson with essential maintenance and repairs that keep our forklifts running smoothly and safely. From diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues to performing safety checks youll be the goto person for making sure our equipment is always in top shape.

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintenance & Inspection: Regularly inspect clean and lubricate forklift parts to keep them performing at their best.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues with precision and efficiency.
• Safety Checks: Perform safety inspections to spot potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Repairs: Handle repairs on engines brakes transmissions and steering systems getting forklifts back in action quickly.
• Documentation: Keep detailed records of all work completed including parts and time spent on each job.
• Testing: Test forklifts after repairs to ensure everything is running safely and correctly.
• Teamwork: Work closely with team members to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks helping to minimize any downtime.
• Operator Support: Share guidance on best practices for safe forklift operation and routine maintenance.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with Maintenance: Handson experience with preventive maintenance and repair practices.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnostic Ability: Skilled in using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues.
• Attention to Detail: Careful attention to detail to ensure all work meets high standards.
• Physical Fitness: Able to lift heavy objects and handle physical tasks as needed.
• Team Player: Works well with others and follows instructions.
• Clearances: Must pass a 10panel drug screen and background check.
