Job Description



The HRIS Analyst will play a vital role in supporting our growing organization by ensuring our HR systems are efficient, accurate, and aligned with our business goals. The role is responsible for system maintenance, troubleshooting, reporting, and ensuring HR data integrity.

Duties & Responsibilities

HRIS Management & System Support

 

  • Act as the HRIS system expert, leveraging your expertise in design, configuration, testing, and implementation of all Paylocity modules.
  • Maintain, support, and enhance the HRIS system. Staying updated on the latest features and functionalities and identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization in key functional areas.
  • Oversee and maintain integrations with payroll, benefits, and other HR systems (Officevibe).
  • Executes, supports, and maintains configurations, transactions, and updates within the HRIS to support the business.
  • Collaborate with People Operations, People Business Partners, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and Operations teams to understand business needs and deliver solutions that align with overall strategies.
  • Support HR processes such as benefits administration, compensation, payroll, recruiting, and performance management through Paylocity.
  • Manage data integrity through regular audits and system updates.
  • Executes and assists with system-related tasks for special projects and acquisitions.
  • Create and maintain documentation for HR systems, processes, and workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.

 

Reporting & Analytics

  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Creates new and modifies existing Paylocity reports/dashboards/analytics based on business requirements
  • Analyze data to identify trends, identify areas for improvement, and inform strategic decisions.

User Support & Training

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Paylocity, troubleshooting issues and providing solutions.
  • Train the People & Culture team, operational leaders, and employees on HRIS functionality and self-service features.

 

Other Responsibilities

 

  • As part of the HR team, collaborate in various company projects and programs, including wellness activities, employee social events, community outreach efforts, and compliance matters.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications



Education, Experience & Skills/Abilities

  • 2+ years of experience in HRIS administration, data analytics, or HR technology
  • BA Preferred
  • Knowledge of HR processes, compliance requirements, and best practices
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as Workday, ADP, Paylocity, or similar systems
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas
  • Data visualization and reporting expertise
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills - written and oral
  • Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
  • People Management Skills - ability to influence & de-escalation skills
  • Service-orientation / customer success mentality and approach
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Working Environment & Physical Requirements

Working conditions include those typically seen in an office environment. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
