Salary starts at $42.44/hour

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Repair and maintain electrical equipment such as motors, generators commutators, circuit breakers, controls and relays, switches.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Assist electrical mechanics of higher classification in the performance of their duties.
• Make routine inspections of electrical equipment during outages and report conditions found.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing (TECH)
• Ability to work different shifts
• Ability to receive unescorted Nuclear access
• AND ONE of the following: Associates degree in a technical field OR
• Two years minimum related Electrical military experience OR
• Two years minimum experience as a journeyperson Electrician OR
• Two years minimum of equivalent journeyperson Electrician experience in industrial employment
