Position Overview:
We are seeking a confident, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This pivotal role is crucial to our company's success and involves close collaboration with our Production, Sales, and Accounting teams, as well as staff from several offsite warehouses. You will play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Procure Packaging Goods for multiple Packaging Locations.
Initiate Orders/Procure packaging goods and coordinate the logistics for all bottlings/packings. This includes all records and maintenance within multiple platforms.
Communicate regularly with our preferred vendors across multiple product types (winemaking, equipment repair, bottling goods, etc.)
Manage Export and Domestic Shipping processes.
Coordination and application of export labels for cases and/or bottles
Courier for specialty items transferred to DTC warehouse (customer orders wine pourers, tea towels, etc.)
Oversee Inventory Control across multiple Product Types & Warehouses.
Create and maintain Product Codes on various platforms.
Submit orders and invoice customers accurately.
Work closely with winemaking team to ensure client billings are accurate in Vintrace
Process payments and maintain organized filing systems.
Facilitate Product Transfers between locations.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, w/ emphasis on Excel.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Eagerness to learn and ask questions for clarity.
Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
Physical capability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
A valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Reliable personal transportation.
Knowledge of grape varietals and a basic understanding of the wine industry.
Preferred Experience:
Background in Winery or Restaurant Administration.
Familiarity with International shipping laws and regulations.
Knowledge of State Shipping Rules and Regulations.
Experience with Online Platforms:
QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Vintrace or other winery management software.
Ship Compliant.
WineDirect or other POS systems.
Warehouse Customer/Carrier portals.
