Position Overview

Title: Purchasing Clerk

Pay: $22/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Location: On-site in Denton, TX

Key Responsibilities

You will support both the Purchasing and Planning departments to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials. Your tasks will include:

• Analyzing inventory and sales data to support purchasing strategy
• Updating component safety stock levels, supplier lead times, and order points
• Monitoring supplier delivery performance and maintaining accurate records
• Investigating raw material availability based on product specifications
• Ensuring purchase orders reflect accurate delivery dates
• Following up with vendors on late invoices or deliveries
• Tracking raw material (resin) supply and usage
• Collaborating with internal teams to meet inventory and procurement goals
• Executing supplier performance and cost analysis projects

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Prior experience in purchasing or buying in an industrial setting
• Proficient in SAP, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, goal-driven, and attentive to detail
