**Job Title: Quality Helper** **Job Description** As a Quality Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our manufacturing processes. You will inspect and report quality issues, perform random visual checks, and assist in developing quality control processes to maintain high standards. **Responsibilities** + Inspect and report quality issues to Quality Engineers and Engineering Technicians for resolution. + Conduct random visual spot checks in various manufacturing areas, such as shipping, labeling, and pre-paint, to identify and fix non-conforming products. + Sign off on any Return Material Authorization/Rework before it is sent back to the customer. + Assist in the development and implementation of a quality control check process. + Inspect finished products as needed and participate in special projects. + Perform in-house offline inspections. + Conduct product conformance label assignments. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment. + Highly organized with sharp attention to detail. + Effective communication skills and ability to work well in both routine and unplanned circumstances with sales, team leads, and shop personnel. + Proficiency in utilizing various measuring devices such as tape measures and digital/analog calipers. + Ability to work independently and within a team environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Willingness to learn and grow within the company. + Understanding of 5S and lean manufacturing is a plus. + Experience in the Hollow Metal Industry is advantageous. + Blueprint reading experience. + Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required. + Frequent use of both hands for gripping, holding, and typing. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced, custom metal manufacturing environment where you can grow and develop your skills. The environment includes high noise levels and contact with metals and lubricants. You will be exposed to moving objects such as machinery, mechanical parts, forklifts, and carts, as well as hot or cold temperatures in certain areas of the building. Direct handling of industrial glue and adhesive products is also required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fontana, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
