Job DescriptionThis position exists to recruit students based on the annual college and program recruitment goals, and to assist students throughout the stages of the enrollment funnel. The enrollment funnel includes the following critical processes: Inquiry Generation, Prospect Management, Application Development, Admission to the College, and Enrollment. The primary objective is to meet or exceed enrollment goals established by the Academic and Student Affairs (ASA) Leadership team and administrative leadership. The admissions representative serves as a spokesperson for the college through presentations, meetings, and communications with prospective students, high school counselors and teachers, and community referrals.Minimum QualificationsOne year of experience in admissions, sales, marketing or work in a postsecondary setting. An Associate?s degree may substitute for 6 months of experience.Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.Flexible work schedule, including evening and some overnight travel.Able to work in a measured performance-based environment and meet enrollment goals.Data entry skills sufficient to compile, sort, verify data accuracy.Database and spreadsheet skills sufficient to create and track reports.Ability to organize and manage time efficiently sufficient to manage multiple priorities.Demonstrate knowledge of and share the college?s interest in diverse cultures and populations.Valid driver?s license to conform to Minnesota State vehicle use criteria and consent to a motor vehicle records check.Ability to work independently and work effectively in a team environment.Physical Demands (e.g. sitting, standing and some lifting)Preferred QualificationBachelor?s degree in related field.Three years prior experience in admissions, sales, marketing, or postsecondary education.Experience with a student record system such as ISRS; as well as other data and communication tools (PowerBI, etc.)Knowledge of College, Minnesota State, Federal, State and local laws, rules, policies and procedures pertaining to student data privacy and admissions.Ability to initiate, manage, and evaluate recruitment-related programs and activities.Knowledge of PTCC policies and procedures.Knowledge of PTCC academic programs and requirements and their direct relationship to admissions.Other RequirementsIn accordance with the Minnesota State Colleges Universities (Minnesota State) Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to Minnesota State's vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.A job offer may be contingent upon successfully passing a background check. The background check may consist of the following components: Criminal Background Check Employment Record Review (current and former State employees only) Employment Reference Check Conflict of Interest ReviewEmployment eligibility: The college regrets that it is unable to offer H-1B sponsorship at this time. Some evening and weekend scheduling will be required to meet the needs of the position.
