Research & Publishing Director :

Tiburon is seeking to hire an experienced research & publishing director who will become a core part of the research & publishing team as well as engaging in a variety of advisory roles. This is an opportunity to lead the firm's research of companies. The goal of the research & publishing director is to increase the firm's frequency in publishing incremental research. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver three research & publishing (PowerPoint) assignments per day. Research & publishing (PowerPoint) completion includes addressing noted suggestions to PowerPoint documents, completing research & printing assignments, and publishing to the Tiburon website. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and responsive team player who can support current research & publishing needs. Tiburon would expect to maintain a twelve-month horizon for full deployment in the role and check in monthly (maybe quarterly later) to ensure progress towards the desired role. There is no cap on advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Research & Publishing:
  
  
  • Revise, set up, & unbundle Tiburon research (PowerPoint) documents
    
    
  • Update data to improve research
    
    
  • Incorporate existing research & publishing (PowerPoint) pages to improve research
    
    
  • Conduct Tiburon member interviews to improve research
    
    
  • Research defined issues to improve research
    
    
  • Incorporate clippings library documents to improve research
    
    
• Advisory:
  
  
  • Record Tiburon Webinars
    
    
  • Present one-on-one Tiburon Webinars with Tiburon members
    
    
  • Present at semi-annual Tiburon CEO Summits
    
    
  • Present Tiburon Market Seminars & Conference Speeches
    
    
  • Serve in board roles for Tiburon member firms
    
    
• Management:
  Manage a team of research & publishing analysts
  
  

  Requirements:
  
  

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint (intermediate skills required; work primarily in graphics but following existing approved formats)
    
    
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills (ability to manage oneself in a fast-paced work environment and to meet multiple deadlines with limited supervision)
    
    
  • Exceptional attention to detail
    Ability to learn quickly and solve problems
    

  Compensation:
  
  

  • Paid $125,000-$400,000 (based on experience)

  Tiburon Summer Analyst Program :
  
  

  Tiburon also anticipates restarting its Summer Analyst Program for the summer of 2025.

  The Tiburon Summer Analyst Program is a ten-to-twelve week program designed to provide college and high school students with introductions to both a professional services firm environment and the wealth & investment management (& WealthTech) industry. Successful candidates will possess strong organizational and time-management skills, the ability to manage oneself in a fast-paced work environment and to meet multiple deadlines with limited supervision. Some previous professional services firm office experience would be helpful, but not required. Interested candidates must be able to work a minimum of twenty hours per week, with a full-time role of forty hours per week being preferable, for at least ten weeks. Starting pay is $25 per hour.
