Salary: 126,100 - 227,950 USD per year Requirements:

• Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor's degree and 12 to 15 years of prior relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 10 to 13 years of prior relevant experience. A Doctorate in a technical domain may also be considered. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Favorable if you have:
• - Experience in adult learning principles and instructional design (e.g., ADDIE model, Bloom’s Taxonomy).
• - Understanding of ITIL, Agile, or project management principles related to IT service management.
• - Expertise in specific technologies, such as networking, cybersecurity, cloud computing, software development, or databases.
• - Relevant industry certifications, such as CompTIA (A+, Network+, Security+), Cisco (CCNA, CCNP), Microsoft (MCP, MCSA, Azure certifications), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), GIAC, or CISSP.
• - Experience with automation, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• - Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2, etc.).

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, secure, and optimize the organization's IT infrastructure.
• Support critical network, server, and cybersecurity systems to ensure operational reliability, efficiency, and protection against cyber threats.
• Assist in leading the team, strategic planning, and providing technical expertise for the cyber team.
• Train and mentor junior infrastructure support staff, conducting knowledge-sharing sessions and creating best practices documentation.
• Lead IT infrastructure and security projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Manage relationships with security vendors, technology partners, and cross-functional teams.
• Assist in defining IT infrastructure budgets, evaluating new technologies, and optimizing resource allocation.
• Oversee major security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement remediation strategies.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network systems, servers, and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Provide technical support for IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and enterprise applications.
• Ensure system uptime, performance, and reliability through proactive maintenance and upgrades.
• Implement and maintain security policies, controls, and monitoring tools to safeguard IT systems.
• Respond to security incidents, conduct investigations, and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Assist in compliance with industry security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, etc.).
• Perform regular patch management, system hardening, and access control reviews.
• Support and configure firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs for secure network access.
• Monitor network traffic, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize performance.
• Implement network segmentation, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
• Manage and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Implement cloud security best practices, access management, and disaster recovery planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, security policies, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Collaborate with IT teams, security analysts, and system administrators to enhance IT infrastructure security and performance.
• Assist with training and knowledge transfer for IT staff and end-users.

The Multi-domain Solutions Division (MDS) within the Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a skilled Senior Cyber Infrastructure Support to join a new cybersecurity program and play a key role in supporting government-critical systems. You will be part of a program that oversees the development, integration, delivery, and operations and maintenance of IT managed security services, which encompasses support to monitor cybersecurity threats and security posture situational awareness for the enterprise. This opportunity is in anticipation of a future contract award!

Pay Range: $126,100.00 - $227,950.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only, not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, along with internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreements, or other laws.
