Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic On-Site Property Manager to manage a fully-amenitized, 100+ unit apartment building in San Gabriel, CA. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for residents and vendors, overseeing all aspects of property management, maintenance, and resident engagement. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, values community building, and has a passion for delivering exceptional resident experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Resident Relations : Develop strong, positive relationships with residents, promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests. Foster a community-centered atmosphere that encourages resident satisfaction and retention.
• Leasing and Renewals : Work with our agents to schedule tours and coordinate move-ins and renewals, aiming to achieve high occupancy rates and resident retention.
• Maintenance Oversight : Monitor all property maintenance activity and assist in scheduling repairs and preventative maintenance, ensuring all areas are up to Helix standards. Report issues to Helix maintenance technicians to address problems swiftly and efficiently.
• Amenity Management : Maintain high standards for all amenities (fitness center, pool area, outdoor courtyards, co-working spaces, etc.), ensuring cleanliness and functionality. Plan and implement programs to enhance resident use and enjoyment of amenities.
• Community Engagement : Plan and host regular resident events to promote engagement and build community, ensuring residents have an exceptional living experience.
• Reporting and Compliance : Keep accurate records of all leasing, maintenance, and resident activities. Ensure the property complies with all local, state, and company regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience : 1+ year property management experience, additional professional support and training provided

Skills :

• Outstanding customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Proficiency with property management software (AppFolio) and Microsoft Office
• High attention to detail and initiative

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
