ABOUT THIS ROLE 
As a Software Engineer Co-op here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software development and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies. You will work alongside a team of experienced software engineers and collaborate on various projects to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the development of software solutions that drive efficiency, productivity, and safety in high-growth industries. You will work on projects that involve designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with software engineers and cross-functional teams to develop and test software applications 
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality 
  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and methodologies 
  • Write code to support product features, test automation, infrastructure, and deployment
  • Design, develop, and demo as needed within a delivery team
  • Participate in peer reviews to both share and receive feedback

Location: USA

The hourly base range for this position is $25.00/hr - $38.00/hr. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Pursuing Bachelor's degree in a Software or computer-related field
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship 
  • Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher)   
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S
