Hoplite Solutions is looking for a talented Software Engineer with a TS/SCI polygraph clearance located in the Fort Meade, MD area. Responsibilities:

• Use leading edge technologies to develop analytics pulling data from multiple cyber sources
• Develop prototypes answering new questions as well as providing better answers to existing questions
• Develop new ways to represent the data using data science methods and automating analytic processes using machine language frameworks
• Work directly with the customer in a highly collaborative, integrated environment, performing outreach to evangelize product adoption
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and document big data cloud computing workflows

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience or Master’s degree plus 3-years of relevant experience.  An Associate’s degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. Computer Science (CS) degree or related field
• Experience with Java, Pig
• Customer GHOSTMACHINE analytic development
• Experience with Hadoop (Map Reduce, Accumulo, & Distributed File System (HDFS))
• Experience with Linux

Desire Qualifications:

• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence

Salary at Hoplite Solutions is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the company total compensation package for employees.
