Tableau Developer with SQL Python

Location : Elk Grove CA (Prefer local)

Hybrid 3 days onsite / week

Long term contract

Experience : 7yrs

Visa : GC H1B GCEAD USC H4EAD

Prefer local candidate first (Relocation must require)

Please make sure that candidates have been using Tableau SQL and Python on a weekly basis for the past 5 years.

1. Use SQL to manipulate and model data.

2. Use Python or R perform statistical and causal modeling; create visualizations;

3. Use Tableau to create interactive visualizations

4. Require excellent communication skills.

Client goal is to add people to the team who have experience with formal data analysis which generally entails probabilistic and statistical modeling experimental design and analysis causal modeling and explanatory machine learning.

Client would expect anyone who can do those things is proficient with the standard tools like Python SQL and Tableau. One of the main challenges client have faced is that most of the contractors they have interviewed equate building visualizations and dashboards to analysis when thats actually just the starting point.

Data exploration is essential but insufficient to derive robust insights. Client is looking for someone who has this same perspective and knows how to use the appropriate techniques to derive robust insights.

This role will:

Use Tableau to create visualizations

Use SQL to manipulate and model data

Use python to manipulate and model data; create visualizations;

Require a working knowledge of formal statistical analysis and causal modeling

Require excellent communication skills
