A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TRANSPORTATION DESIGNER
As a member of the engineering division, you will assist transportation engineers in developing projects plans and provide support to a project team in verifying agency and company CADD standards.   You will work on roadway projects and large highway projects utilizing AutoCAD Civil3d or MicroStation Connect engineering software. You will r outinely provide plan drafting, detailing, and perform quantity calculations.  Design related production activities will be assigned as experience and strengths are identified. Your ability to adhere to design standards, work efficiently as part of a team, and appreciation for client satisfaction will ensure you are very successful in this position!

ABOUT YOU!

• You have earned an Associates Degree with emphasis in Engineering/CADD Drafting or a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• You’ve accumulated 2+ years civil engineering transportation design experience.
• You demonstrate a high degree of proficiency using AutoCAD or MicroStation required.
• You have experience preparing engineering details, plans, and quantities.
• Your general computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook are essential.
