Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Designer with expertise in Design Thinking and Figma to join our team in Columbia, SC. This is a 100% onsite, long-term role focused on solving complex problems through user-centric design. The ideal candidate will have experience in journey mapping, conducting workshops, creating PSDs, and allocating tasks to the team. While deep UI development expertise is not required, a strong understanding of UI principles is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply Design Thinking methodologies to solve user experience challenges.
Use Figma to create wireframes, prototypes, and design systems.
Conduct journey mapping to optimize user flows and improve UX.
Develop Photoshop (PSD) designs and other visual assets.
Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather insights and refine designs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align UX strategies with business goals.
Allocate and oversee work assignments within the design team.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong expertise in Design Thinking and user-centered problem-solving.
Proficiency in Figma for UI/UX design, prototyping, and collaboration.
Solid understanding of UI principles (expert-level knowledge not required).
Experience in journey mapping and process visualization.
Ability to create high-fidelity PSDs and design assets.
Strong workshop facilitation skills to drive collaboration.
Experience leading and delegating tasks within a design team.
