Job description:

Required Qualifications:

1. Holds a Master's or Bachelor's degree in data analytics, Computer Engineering, Math, Statistics, Economics, or a related analytics field from top-tier universities with a strong record of achievement.
2. Possesses over 7 years of experience with analytical skills and an entrepreneurial, hands-on approach.
3. Experienced in creating robust dashboards and reports; proficient in writing SQL queries for data retrieval and transformation across various technologies.
4. Proficient in Agile Methodology, Scrum, and Customer Story Sessions.
5. Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experienced in dual shore engagements.
6. Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, keen intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and a sense of drive.
7. Has experience in the insurance domain.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Extensive experience in SQL programming; proficient in Tableau; familiar with Databricks and AWS.
2. Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.
3. Previous experience in analytics-based consulting.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborates with client leadership to identify business opportunities, pinpoint gaps and needs, develop value propositions, gather requirements, and create data-driven reporting solutions.
2. Conducts workshops for requirement elicitation and facilitates solution discussions with clients, including scope definition, alternative designs, feasibility, and prioritizing the backlog.
3. Develops an understanding of existing data architecture and future roadmap.
4. Applies advanced problem-solving skills to create visualizations that clearly articulate findings and provide actionable recommendations; experienced in dual shore engagements.
5. Defines and standardizes data domains and business rules to ensure consistency and reusability.
6. Performs gap analysis to identify discrepancies in data structures, definitions, and business logic.
7. Collaborates closely with data architects and engineers to translate business needs into easy to consume deliverables using data engineering and business intelligence tools.
8. Creates documentation, including business process flows and data dictionaries.
9. Demonstrates proficiency and hands-on experience with visualization tools.
10. Serves as a liaison between business units and data/reporting teams.
