Express Lube Automotive Technician - Job Responsibilities:

• Perform a complete multi-point safety inspection on all vehicles
• Discuss ethical repairs with service advisor
• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts and prices
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order
• Communicate additional service requests to service advisor
• Provide labor time estimates to service advisor
• Monitor repair time and update service advisor regularly
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
• Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs
• Remain current with all training required to maintain Certification
• Road tests vehicles when required
• Ensures customer’s cars and work area are kept clean
• Attend company and factory training
• Keep current with factory technical bulletins
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)

Express Lube Automotive Technician - Requirements:

• Ability and desire to constantly learn and improve mechanical skills
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Team player
• Computer literate
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma

Compensation is based on experience. High earning potential

• lube tech: 1 year (Preferred but not required)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

License:

• Driver's License (Required)

Work authorization:

• United States (Required)

Skills:

• Mechanic experience (Recommended but Not Required)
