As a Post Press Operator here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for operating post press equipment to finish printed materials and ensure quality and compliance with industry standards. You will play a crucial role in the final production process, ensuring that our printed materials meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our South Bend, IN location.
In this role, you will impact the final product by operating post press equipment such as cutters, folders, and bindery machines. Your attention to detail and adherence to production specifications will be critical in delivering high-quality printed materials to our customers.
Position Overview:
Runs shot peening process on production parts such as, but not limited to, wheels. Before each cycle, refers to job schedule to determine what should be nm, prepares fixture that holds part, lifts part into shot peen machine, and checks all paperwork and relevant blueprints to ensure correct information. Also, runs a test part through the shot-peen machine to verify correct machine settings. Uses gages to examine part and verify results from test run. Following each shot peen cycle, visually checks part for over-peening or "ripple effect."
