Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania seeks energetic and passionate Nurses to serve young children with disabilities within our specialized integrated preschool programs throughout the regional area. The Nurse will provide medical support to preschool-aged children, some with significant disabilities and medical needs, attending the Approved Private School.
Essential duties include managing student documentation, providing appropriate medical care and medication administration, as well as coordinating with staff in the program. Daily responsibilities include first aid and illness assessment, emergency care when needed, administering medications, completing feedings and other medically necessary procedures, consulting with staff members as well as administration, coordinating with private duty nurses, maintaining medical records, assisting families with medical questions and medical documentation needed, and other duties as needed.
