We are looking for a passionate Social Media Intern , who wants to learn & grow in the beauty/ social media space. You will assist the Social Media team and work closely with our Marketing team as you gain experience in social media, content creation and marketing campaigns. You will assist with all social tasks, including but not limited to weekly social reporting, content creation, creator and brand outreach, concept ideation, trend research, and competitive research. You have experience in creating/ editing social content on iPhone and should be comfortable being in front of the camera.

Your life at MAËLYS will look like…

• Develop and execute engaging video content across our social media channels with an emphasis on TikTok & Instagram.
• Stay up to date and ahead of the curve on the latest social media trends, trending audios and memes.
• Work closely with the Social Media Team for social campaign, trend and content development ideation.
• Have a pulse on the competitive social and beauty landscape while bringing fresh, creative ideas to the team.
• Develop competitive trends and research reports.
• Additional tasks as assigned.

You will thrive in this role if you…

• Studying bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Previous internship experience in social media, Marketing, Beauty or Social Video Production is preferred, not required.
• Interest in the beauty industry.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Great content creation, content editing and writing skills.
• Strong time management and ability to work to set deadlines.
• Reliable, positive energy, always on, self-motivated and up for new challenges.
• Stay on top of trends within TikTok and the social media landscape
• Are someone who can quickly pivot and work on other tasks as needed with a great attitude

We are looking for someone for 10-15 hours a week, depending on school schedule. 

The internship will be monetarily compensated - $16.50 per hour
