BRAVE Books envisions a world where Biblically inspired entertainment influences this generation, the next, and all that follow. We do that by creating worlds, stories, and characters that forge character, conviction, and imagination in children. But it takes a village, and we are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our team leading up to the launch of a digital product. We are looking for a strategic thinker and creative storyteller who is passionate about leveraging social media to amplify BRAVE Books’ mission.

Job Specifications:

BRAVE's Social Media Manager will develop and execute high-impact social media campaigns that align with the brand’s overall strategy. This individual will be responsible for crafting and managing campaigns that increase brand awareness, drive audience engagement, and build a strong, organic community. They will also be responsible for analyzing campaign performance, generating actionable reports, and refining strategies based on key metrics such as engagement, reach, and audience growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media strategy, content marketing, and audience development, with experience in leveraging data-driven insights and trends to optimize performance. As a strong storyteller, they will use compelling narratives to foster authentic relationships with the audience and strengthen brand loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media campaigns that align with BRAVE Books’ overarching marketing goals, ensuring cohesive messaging and brand consistency across all channels
  • Plan and collaborate in creating engaging multimedia content (graphics, videos, copy) that drives community engagement and supports campaign objectives
  • Implement proactive engagement strategies to grow and nurture BRAVE Books’ online community, fostering meaningful conversations and brand loyalty
  • Use analytics tools to track campaign performance, extract insights, and adjust strategies in real time to optimize reach, engagement, and conversions
  • Work closely with marketing, creative, and product teams to align social media efforts with book launches, partnerships, and broader brand initiatives
  • Develop both organic and paid media strategies, leveraging influencer partnerships, advertising campaigns, and platform-specific trends to maximize audience impact
  • Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and competitive landscape to keep BRAVE Books at the forefront of digital engagement
  • Work with the Social Media Coordinator to ensure appropriate execution of digital efforts 

Qualifications and Competencies:  

  • 2–5 years in social media management, marketing, or content creation
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred
  • Ability to develop and execute social media strategies, track performance metrics, and optimize campaigns using data insights
  • Strong writing, copywriting, and multimedia content creation skills; proficiency in design and video editing tools is preferred
  • Experience in building and nurturing online communities and managing brand reputation
  • Knowledge of social media algorithms, advertising platforms, influencer marketing, and audience growth strategies
  • Familiarity with social media management tools, SEO, hashtag strategies, and analytics platforms
  • Strong communication, adaptability, creativity, and project management abilities to handle multiple campaigns effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week

Marketing Experience: 2-5 years

Ability to Commute: Conroe, TX 77301 (Required)

Work Location: In person
