Job Description

You will perform routine custodial functions including, but not limited to, cleaning restrooms, trash removal, dusting, floor care, window cleaning, and stocking of supplies. We follow best practices for operating custodial equipment and comply with set environmental standards. Experienced preferred but will train.

This position also aids in the maintenance of the grounds.

Work Status: Must be a permanent United States resident (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Work requires knowledge of standard methods, materials, procedures, tools and equipment associated with custodial and grounds keeping work. Sound judgement is required in interpreting various conditions and applying guidelines while choosing the proper method to meet the standard of care.
• Maintains cleans restrooms. Vacuum carpeting, mop, washes windows, dusts fixtures and furniture, trash removal, maintain clean pathways internally and externally for the facility.
• Reporting any issues or discrepancies in daily operations.
• Maintains work centers: cleaning backplane, cleaning uprights, and empty waste bins.
• Ensure cleaning tools for cell are available and in good condition: broom and bin, surface cleaner, surface cleaning towel, other specialized area maintenance items (based on product requirements).

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feet, talk or hear, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Able to work with arms extended overhead. Must be able to work on ladders.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Hours will be Monday through Friday, 5am - 1:30pm
